Puntadas 6

How is it going these days? I am enjoying with my family, although I fell very tired, I miss the moments of rest and peace at home. Besides  I have toys, papers, boxes and leftovers all over my house but I haven’t any time and place to put so many things away. So I thought that the best is to take refuge in to the blog and take a break in this madness.

Nova lives in Australia and she dedicates herself to embroidery. She has made a precious quilt with embroideries with the help from her mother, who lives in England and for months she has been sending her by mail pieces of fabric stamped in red tones. The embroideries represent things from their daily lives that have a special meaning for them. You can see the result here.

The exposition of Takashi Murakami at the Palace of Versailles, Paris, ended on December 12. His work is difficult to class, between pop and manga perhaps. I don’t know if I like it, but it does surprise me. I found this photo that seems to me very beautiful and original for the decoration of the baroque palace, the sculpture of Murakami and the art of the photographer.

Maravillosa.

Marta is a teacher for children from 3 to 7 years in a rural school and she has a nice blog where she shows the activities she makes with her pupils and her children. The threads of her work are the creativity, imagination and recycling. I link you a post that explains how she has made a doll house. Wonderful.
