June is always a bit crazy month at home: three birthdays and an anniversary within the family, end of school year and ballet… But it’s also very creative and increasingly more, because my daughter is older and so she begins to make things by herself.
Para su cumpleaños, que es este sábado, hemos hecho las invitaciones juntas con las cosas que le trajimos de Las Vegas y San Francisco.
For her birthday, which is this Saturday, we have made together the invitations with the stuff we brought from Las Vegas and San Francisco.
But besides, while I finish the orders and sew sequins on her tutu for the ballet festival (a tremendous boredom!), she made a “piñata”, a garland and now she’s making some ornaments for the table.
And after a great weekend when I met a lot of crafters at the Fireta d’Estiu and in The Pop Up Market, last Saturday we went to celebrate the knitting in plublic day, which in Valencia was at the Crea Corner of El Corte Inglés department stores. A great idea given the very hot weather. Ana enjoyed teaching another girl hand-knitting and my sister and I had a very good time chatting with other knitters. Even my niece had fun clapping when the prizes of the draw were given.
So, I’m really busy, but very happy to have such a craft month. And you, what are you working on these days?
