Tutorial: patrón de araña de ganchillo / Tutorial: free crochet spider pattern

La semana pasada publiqué mi patrón de la tela de araña, pero faltaba algo... la araña.

Last week I posted my pattern of a spiderweb, but something was missing ... the spider.

Necesitamos lana, floca, botones pequeños, agua y almidón o cola.

We need yarn, poly-fil, water and starch or glue.

1- Primero tejemos la araña.

1- First knit the spider:

Patrón del cuerpo:
Es aconsejable usar un marcador para señalar el primer punto de la próxima vuelta.

Vuelta 1: hacemos un anillo ajustable y 5 p.b. en el anillo (5 p.).

Vuelta 2: 2 p.b. en cada p. hasta el final de la vuelta (10 p.).

Vuelta 3: *2 p.b. en el primer p., 1 p.b. en el siguiente p. (repetir desde * hasta el final de la vuelta) (15 p).

Vuelta 4: *2 p.b. en el primer p., 1 p.b. en el siguiente p. (repetir desde * 7 veces), 1 p.b. (22 p.).

Vuelta 5: *2 p.b. en el primer p., 1 p.b. en los dos siguientes p. (repetir desde * 7 veces), 2 p.b. en el último p. (30 p.).

Vuelta 6 y 7: 1 p.b. en cada p. (30 p.).

Vuelta 8: *2 p.b.jun., 1 p.b. en el siguiente p. (repetir desde * hasta el final de la vuelta) (20 p.). Rellena la araña con floca

Vuelta 9: *2 p.b.jun., 1 p.b. en el siguiente p. (repetir desde * 6 veces), 1 p.b. en los dos últimos p. (14 p.).
Vuelta 10: 2 p.b.jun. hasta el final de la vuelta (7 p.). Cierra el agujero con la misma lana y una aguja lanera.

Body pattern:

I recommend to use a stitch marker to mark the first stitch of each round.

Round 1: make and adjustable ring and work 5 sc in the ring  (5 sts).

Round 2: 2 sc in each st (10 sts.).

Round 3: *2 sc in next st, 1 sc in next st (repeat from * around) (15 sts).

Round 4: *2 sc in next st, 1 sc in next st (repeat from * 7 times), 1 sc (22 sts).

Round 5: *2 sc in next st, 1 sc in next 2 sts (repeat from * 7 times), 2 sc in last st (30 sts).

Rounds 6 and 7: 1 sc in each st around (30 sts).

Round 8: *sc2tog, 1 sc in next st (repeat from * around) (20 sts). Stuff the spider with poly-fil.

Round 9: * sc2tog, 1 sc in next st (repeat from * 6 times), 1 sc in last 2 st (14 sts).

Round 10: sc2tog  around (7 sts). Using the yarn and a yarn needle close up the hole.

Patrón de las patas (hacer 8):
16 cad.
Vuelta 1: 1 p.b. a partir de la 2ª cad. desde la aguja (7 veces), 2 p.b. en el siguiente p., 1 p.b. en las siguientes cad. (7 veces). Cerrar y dejar unos 5 cm. de lana.

Legs pattern (make 8):

ch 16

Round 1: sc in each ch begining on 2nd ch from the hook (7 times), 2 sc in next ch, 1 sc in next 7 chs. Fasten off and leave about 2’’ yarn.

p: punto
p.b.: punto bajo
2 p.b.jun.: juntar dos puntos bajos en uno (para disminuir)
cad.: cadeneta

Abbreviations:

St: stitch

sc: single crochet

sc2tog: single crochet 2 together (a decreasing st)

ch: chain stitch

2- Cosemos las patas al cuerpo de la araña con la lana sobrante de cada pata, teniendo en cuenta que la parte más chata del cuerpo va arriba y la más redondeada abajo. Para que las patas mantengan la forma las he mojado con almidón a fin de darles apresto. También se puede  utilizar cola con agua.

2- Sew the legs to the body of the spider using every leg unused yarn, bearing in mind to place the flatter part of the body up and the rounded down. I dipped the legs in starch to give good size so they maintain the shape. You can also use glue and water.

3- Una vez secas las patas cosemos dos botones como ojos a la altura de las patas y añadimos los adornos a gusto.

3- Once the legs are dry, sew two buttons like eyes at legs level and the ornaments you like.
