Tutorial: ramo de pompones / Tutorial: pompom vase

 

Por fin he llevado a cabo una idea que tenía en la cabeza desde hace mucho tiempo, desde que una amiga me regaló un jarrón completamente liso y transparente con una forma muy bonita. Aunque me encantan las flores no me gusta tenerlas en casa, son una obligación más, y como tenemos el jardín, ya disfrutamos de ellas en la terraza. Así que esta es la solución que le he dado al jarrón.

 

Finally I carried out an idea I had in my head for long time, since a friend gave me a totally  smooth and transparent vase with a very nice shape. Though I love flowers I don’t like to have any at home, they become an obligation. As we have many in the garden, we can enjoy them from our terrace. So this is the solution I gave to the vase.

Necesitamos lana, fieltro, floca y unas ramitas.

 

We need yarn, felt, polyester filling and some twigs.

 

1– Primero haremos unos pompones y unas bolas de ganchillo. Los pompones no muy abultados y dejando una hebra más larga. Podéis ver aquí mi tutorial para hacer pompones. Para las bolas de gachillo yo he utilizado el patrón de Ms Premise Conclusion, el de la bola más pequeña.

 

1- First make some pompoms and crochet balls. Don’t make the pompoms too bulky and leave a longer yarn. You can see here my tutorial to make pompoms. I used Ms PremiseConclusion’s pattern to make the crochet balls (the one to make smallest ball).

2– Después cortamos en fieltro de distintos colores (que combinen con los pompones) círculos de 7 cm. de diámetro.

 

2- Next cut 2.75’’ diameter circles in felt of different colors (that match the pompoms).

3– Hacemos un agujero en el centro de los círculos, por donde pasamos la hebra larga de los pompones y las ramitas; enrollamos la hebra alrededor de la rama y la pegamos con silicona o pegamento para tela. Ya tenemos las flores.

 

3- Make a hole in the center of the circles, where passing the long yarn of the pompoms and the twigs through; wrap the yarn aroud the twig and stick it with glue for fabric. Flowers are ready.

4– Colocamos las bolas en el jarrón y ponemos las flores en medio.

 

4- Place the balls into the vase and the flowers in the middle.
