La pasada Navidad Rous, de Llueve Diamantina, y Daniela, de Pompons Party, organizaron el primer   Intercambio de Mano a Mano y tuve la suerte de participar. ¿Por qué no os lo había contado? Pues porque  desgraciadamente mi paquete se perdió en el envío. Hemos estado esperando, pero a estas alturas ya no creo que aparezca. De todas formas, quiero que conozcáis a mi pareja de intercambio, Danita Art. Para mi ha sido un maravilloso descubrimiento.

Last Christmas Rous, from Llueve Diamantina, and Daniela, from Pompons Party, organized  first exchange “Intercambio de Mano a Mano” and I was lucky to take part. Why didn’t I told you? Because unfortunately the package I sent got lost on the way. We have been waiting, but at this point I don’t think will appear. However, I want you to know my exchange partner, Danita Art. For me she has been a wonderful discovery.

Danita es una artista mexicana muy polifacética. Es pintora e ilustradora, pero también hace joyas y muñecas de tela.

Danita is a Mexican very versatile artist. She is painter and illustrator, but she also makes jewels and rag dolls.

Yo creo que su obra es muy mexicana, por lo menos a mi me hace pensar en los escritores y artistas que componen mi visión de ese mágico país. Realmente, si tuviera que definirla con una palabra diría precisamente que su obra es mágica.

I think her work is very Mexican, at least she makes me think about the writers and artists who compose my vision of this magic country. In fact, if I had to define her with a single word I would say that her work is magic.

Transmite mucha fuerza, sentimientos intensos, ensoñación,...

She projects strength, intense feelings, dreaming...

Y estos tesoros fueron su regalo. ¡Además llegaron el cinco de enero! Debió ser cosa de los Reyes Magos.

And these treasures were her gift. Besides they arrived on 5 January! It must have something to do with the Three Kings.

Y este era el mío. Quiero que Danita pueda al menos verlo en fotos. Pero no me rindo, ya tengo el boceto de lo que le voy a hacer y esta vez tiene que llegarle.

And this was my gift for her. I want Danita at least can see it in the photos. But I don’t give up, I already have the sketch of what I’m going to make for her and this time it must reach her.
