Lo último que he hecho / Last needlecrafts

 

Estoy tan liada con The Crafty Room que no me queda tiempo de coger las agujas salvo para los talleres que hacemos allí y para los encargos. Tengo tantas ideas y proyectos en la cabeza que me parece increíble que en otras ocasiones que he querido crear algo nuevo no se me ocurriera nada. Será la Ley de Murphy.

 

I am working so hard with The Crafty Room that I have no time to take the needles but for the workshops and for the orders. I have so many ideas and projects that seems incredible that other times I wanted to create anything new and nothing came to my mind. It will be because of Murphy’s Law.

 

Para un taller de iniciación al patchwork diseñé este guardagujas.

 

For a workshop of Initiation to Patchwork I designed this needle keeper.

Para el taller de vueltas cortas he practicado con este precioso gorro de aviador. El patrón es de Flor y lo podéis descargar gratuitamente aquí. Me divierten mucho las vueltas cortas. He descubierto que prefiero los patrones que hay que seguir; cuando todo es punto bobo o punto jersey me duermo.

 

For the short rows workshop I have practised with this beautiful aviator cap. The pattern is by Flor and you can download it here for free. I spend a good time with short rows. I have found out that I prefer the patterns that it is necessary to follow; when everything is garter stitch or stockinette stitch I fall asleep.

 

 

En realidad me di cuenta haciendo este otro gorro. Me ha costado muchísimo, lo he tenido que repetir unas diez veces: salía muy grande, me equivocaba, la lana era muy gorda,… Pero al fin lo logré, aprendiendo de paso lo importante que es hacer muestras. El patrón lo tenéis gratuito aquí y lo ha creado Mary Craver.

In fact I realized making this other cap. It was hard, I had to repeat it about ten times: or it was too big, or I make a mistake, or the yarn was too thick… But finally I got it, learning also how important to make patterns. You can find the free pattern here and Mary Craver  created it.

 

 

Este muñeco lo he diseñado para el taller de muñecos. ¿Lindo, verdad?

I designed this doll for the Dolls workshop. Nice, isn’t it? 

 

 

Y para el taller “Mi familia en punto de cruz” acabo de terminar este bordado: Iván, Maurice, Ana y yo. ¡Me encanta!

 

En plan casero, he renovado la funda de la alfombra de Maurice que estaba hecha un trapo. Le gustó tanto que no quería quitarse para que la fotografiara. Tuve que echarle.

At home, I have changed Maurice’s mat cover. He liked it so much that he did not want to get out so I could take the photo. I had to push him off.

 

 

Y he tejido un mochimochi de Miffy. Lo vi en el Pinterest de mi amiga Sunny y me encantó. El patrón está  en Knitterbees y también es gratuito.

And I have knitted a Miffy’s mochimochi. I saw it on the Pinterest of my friend Sunny and I loved it. The pattern is on Knitterbees and it is also free.
