Si os gusta bordar, incluso si os decantáis por la costura o el patchwork, seguro que más de una vez os habéis encontrado con un tutorial o un patrón en inglés en el que mencionan un punto que no identificáis con el nombre que tiene en vuestro idioma.
If you like to embroider, even if you prefer sewing or patchwork, sure that more than once you have found a tutorial or a pattern in English where it is mentioned a stitch that you do not identify with the name it has in your language.
Como a mi me ha ocurrido, he ido recopilando esquemas con los nombres en inglés y he pensado en compartirlos con vosotros. Desgraciadamente, como los he guardado para uso personal no puse la referencia de sus autores. Creo que todos provienen de libros antiguos.
As it has happened to me, I have been keeping different drawings with the names in English and have thought to share them with you. Unfortunately, as I kept them for personal use I did not put the reference of their authors. I believe that they all come from antique books.
