Como sabéis, lo guardo todo. Y las bolsas de papel con dibujos bonitos siempre acaban sirviéndome para algo. Mi suegra le trajo a mi hija un recuerdo de Londres y en cuanto vi la bolsa me la quedé. Y ya se me ha ocurrido qué hacer con ella, un portavelas.
As you know, I use to keep everything. And the paper bags with nice drawings always end up been useful for something. My mother-in-law brought my daughter a souvenir from London and as soon as I saw the bag I kept it. And I have already thought what to do with it, a candle holder.
Necesitamos un vaso, papel estampado y una vela.
We need a glass, printed paper and a candle.
1– Como yo he empleado una bolsa de papel, primero desdoblo el papel sin romperlo, porque está pegado, y recorto la parte que me sirve.
1- I have used a paper bag, so I have first unfolded the paper without breaking it, because it is glued, and cut the useful part.
2– Cortamos el papel a la medida del vaso, tratando de que el dibujo quede bien. En mi caso he tenido que añadir un trozo (haciendo coincidir el dibujo) porque no cubría el diámetro del vaso. Lo colocamos alrededor del vaso y tomamos la medida para cortar el sobrante y pegar los extremos. Yo lo he hecho con cinta adhesiva trasparente y por la parte interior.
2- Cut out the paper to the size of the glass, trying that the drawing looks nice. In my case I have had to add a piece (matching the drawing) because it did not cover the complete diameter of the glass. Place it around the glass and measure to trim the excess and stick the ends. I did it using clear adhesive tape on the inside part.
