Deshilachado: Tutorial: máquina de coser de tela / Tutorial: fabric sewing machine

He hecho una máquina de coser pequeñita, de adorno.

I have made an ornamental little sewing machine.

Necesitamos tela, floca, puntilla o cinta, un botón, un alfiler grande, un trozo de gomaespuma e hilo.

We need fabric, polyester filling, lace edging or ribbon, a button, a big pin, a piece of foam rubber and thread.

1- Comenzamos dibujando en la tela el patrón de la máquina, que podéis descargar aquí. Y una tira de 35 cm. x 2 cm.

1- Start by drawing on the fabric the pattern of the machine, which you can download from here. And a strip of 13.7 x 0.8’’.

2- A continuación, cosemos las piezas: primero la tira al borde de una de las piezas laterales y después al borde de la otra, dejando un hueco para darle la vuelta y rellenar con la floca. Colocamos siempre las telas derecho con derecho.

2- Next, sew the pieces: first the strip at the edge of one of the side pieces and then at the edge of the other one, leaving a hole to turn the inside out and fill with the filling. Place always the right sides of the fabrics faced.

3- Damos la vuelta a la tela, rellenamos con floca y cosemos el hueco a punto escondido.

3- Turn the inside out, fill with filling and sew the hole with hidden stitch.

4- Finalmente colocamos los adornos: cosemos una puntilla y un botón, colocamos un alfiler grande como veis en la foto y hacemos una bobina de hilo envolviendo un trozo de gomaespuma con hilo.

4- Finally place the ornaments: sew a lace edging and a button, place a big pin as you see in the picture and reel of thread wrapping a piece of foam rubber with thread.
