Muchas alumnas de mi escuela, The Crafty Room, me han preguntado cómo colocar las muestras de puntos de bordado en un álbum. Hay varias opciones, pero yo utilizo una muy sencilla y efectiva.
Many pupils at my school, The Crafty Room, have asked me how to place the embroidery stitches samples in an album. There are several options, but I use a very simple and effective one.
Lo ideal es que uséis un álbum de hojas de cartulina.
Ideally, you should use an album with cardboard sheets.
1– Recortad la tela con la muestra de bordado en función del tamaño de las hojas del álbum. Para ello, dibujad la forma por la trasera de la tela y cortad con una tijera de zig zag.
1- Cut the fabric with the embroidery sample, depending on the size of the album sheets. For this, draw the shape at the back of the fabric and cut using a pair of zig zag scissors.
2– A continuación, pegamos las muestras con un pegamento especial para tela. Yo prefiero que sea de barra para que no traspase la tela y la manche. Me gusta Super Stik. Poned el pegamento alrededor del bordado y cerca del borde de la tela.
2- Then, stick the samples with special glue for fabric. I prefer a glue stick to avoid from going through the fabric and staining it. I like Super Stik. Put the glue about the embroidery and near the edge of the fabric.
